25 When State and local governments administer this Act in partnership
The chief executive officer of a local government and the chief executive may agree that—
the State do a thing in the administration or enforcement of this Act for a matter mentioned in section 23(1); or
the local government do a thing in the administration or enforcement of this Act for a matter mentioned in section 22(1).
For subsection (1)(a), the chief executive may perform functions and exercise powers for this Act for a matter mentioned in section 23(1).
For subsection (1)(b), the chief executive officer may perform functions and exercise powers for this Act for a matter mentioned in section 22(1).
