252 Alternative verdicts for particular offences
If, on the trial of a person charged with an offence against section 32, the trier of fact is not satisfied the person committed the offence but is satisfied the person committed an offence against section 35(1)—
the trier of fact may find the person not guilty of the offence charged but guilty of an offence against section 35(1); and
the person is liable to be punished for that offence.
If, on the trial of a person charged with an offence against section 33, the trier of fact is not satisfied the person committed the offence but is satisfied the person committed an offence against section 35(2)—
the trier of fact may find the person not guilty of the offence charged but guilty of an offence against section 35(2); and
the person is liable to be punished for that offence.
If, on the trial of a person charged with an offence against section 164E(3), the trier of fact is not satisfied the person committed the offence but is satisfied the person committed an offence against section 164E(4)—
the trier of fact may find the person not guilty of the offence charged but guilty of an offence against section 164E(4); and
the person is liable to be punished for that offence.
