116 Offences relating to ill-treatment
This section applies to a person who has—
a responsibility for the detention, care and support and protection of a forensic disability client in the forensic disability service; or
the care or custody of a forensic disability client detained in the forensic disability service; or
the care or custody of a forensic disability client while the client is undertaking community treatment.
The person must not ill-treat the forensic disability client.Maximum penalty—150 penalty units or 1 year’s imprisonment.
In this section—
ill-treat includes wilfully abuse, neglect or exploit.
