119 Obstruction of official
A person must not obstruct an official in the exercise of a power under this Act, unless the person has a reasonable excuse.Maximum penalty—40 penalty units.
However, a forensic disability client does not commit an offence against subsection (1) merely because the client resists the exercise of the power in relation to himself or herself.
In this section—
official means a following person—
the director;
the administrator;
a practitioner;
an authorised officer;
a person acting under the direction of a person mentioned in any of paragraphs (a) to (d);
a doctor or registered nurse exercising a power under section 50 or 144.
