Application of transitional provisions to forensic disability clients

(1)

A provision of the Mental Health Act 2016, chapter 20 applies for a forensic disability client to the extent—

(a)

the provision operates in relation to a previously applied provision; and

(b)

the context permits.

(2)

This section does not limit the operation of the Mental Health Act 2016, chapter 20.

(3)

In this section—

previously applied provision means a provision of the repealed Mental Health Act 2000 that was, immediately before the commencement, an applied provision under this Act.
