307A Evidentiary effect of code contravention notice
(1)
A document purporting to be a certified copy of a code contravention notice is evidence—
(a)
that the notice was a code contravention notice given under chapter 5A, part 5, division 1; and
(b)
of the contravention or other matters stated in it; and
(c)
that the notice has been given to the distributor stated in the notice.
(2)
In this section—
certified copy means a copy with a certificate purporting to be signed by a member of QCA stating the copy is a true copy of the document it purports to be.
