Grammar Schools Act 2016

A board of trustees established under the repealed Act, section 7 and in existence immediately before the commencement continues in existence as a board under this Act.

A thing done by or in relation to a board of trustees before the commencement is taken to be a thing done by or in relation to the board continued under subsection (1).

Without limiting subsection (2)—

an appointment of a member of a board of trustees is taken to be an appointment to the board continued under subsection (1); and

a term served by a person as a member of a board of trustees before the commencement is included for the purpose of deciding the number of terms the person has served as a member of a board continued under subsection (1).
