12E Issue of written work diary
(1)
The Regulator must issue a written work diary to the driver of a fatigue-regulated heavy vehicle if the driver—
(a)
applies for the work diary under section 12D; and
(b)
identifies the driver by showing the driver’s current driver licence to the Regulator.
(2)
If the Regulator issues a written work diary to the driver of a fatigue-regulated heavy vehicle, the Regulator must note the date, time and place of issue on the written work diary.
(3)
The Regulator may make other notes on the written work diary the Regulator considers appropriate.
