20B Time zone of driver’s base must be used
The driver must record time in the driver’s work diary according to the time zone in the place where the driver’s base is, rather than the time zone in the place where the driver is. Maximum penalty—$1500.
Note—See also section 248 of the Law, which requires that time periods be counted by reference to the time zone of a driver’s base when the driver’s journey involves travelling into a different time zone.
