11A Incorrect use of warning signs
(1)
This section applies if, under this Regulation, a warning sign is required to be displayed on a heavy vehicle of a particular type, size or configuration.
(2)
A person must not use, or permit to be used, on a road a heavy vehicle that has the warning sign displayed on it unless the vehicle is of the particular type, size or configuration.Maximum penalty—$3000.
(3)
In this section—warning sign means a sign indicating that the vehicle to which it is attached is of a particular type, size or configuration.
