973 Substitute members
(1)
A member mentioned in section 970(1)(a), (b), (c)(i) or (d) may nominate a person to attend a meeting of the consultative committee in the member’s place.
(2)
An organisation that nominates a member under section 970(1)(c)(ii), (e) or (f) may nominate another person to attend a meeting of the consultative committee in the member’s place.
(3)
A person who attends a meeting of the consultative committee in the place of a member has, and may exercise, at the meeting all the rights of the member.
