981 Obsolete industrial instrument

(1)

The registrar, after making inquiry, may publish on the QIRC website notice of an intention to declare a stated industrial instrument obsolete.

(2)

A person may, within the stated time and in the stated way, file an objection notice with the commission.

(3)

The commission must hear and decide the objection.

(4)

If no objection is filed within the stated time, or all objections filed are dismissed, the registrar may, by notice published on the QIRC website, declare that the instrument is obsolete.

(5)

The instrument stops having effect on publication of the notice.
