Exemption—eligible data breach of more than 1 agency

In force

(1)

This section applies if—

(a)

an agency is not required to comply with requirements about assessing a data breach under section 48(2)(b) and (3) because section 48(5) applies to the agency;

and

(b)

another agency is required to comply with division 2 in relation to the data breach.

(2)

The agency need not comply with division 2 in relation to the data breach.
