8D Integrity officers subject only to direction of integrity commissioner
(1)
An integrity officer is not subject to direction by any person, other than from within the integrity office, about—
(a)
the way the integrity commissioner’s functions under this Act are to be performed; or
(b)
the priority given to ethics or integrity issues.
(2)
Subsection (1) applies despite the Public Sector Act 2022.
