Integrity Act 2009

This section applies—

for a reference in this Act to the Local Government Act 2009 or a thing under that Act (the local government reference); and

until the day the Local Government Act 2009, section 288 commences.

The local government reference may, if the context permits, be taken as a reference to the Local Government Act 1993 or the thing under that Act that substantially corresponds to the reference.

To remove any doubt, it is declared that the local government reference to a corporate entity under the Local Government Act 2009 is taken as a reference to a corporatised corporation within the meaning of the Local Government Act 1993, chapter 8, part 7.
