6D Making treatment order information available for research purposes
(1)
The chief executive (justice) may authorise a qualified person to use treatment order information for research.
(2)
If the qualified person is authorised to use treatment order information under subsection (1), the information must be used for the research in a way that could not reasonably be expected to result in the identification of any of the individuals to whom the research relates.
(3)
In this section—
qualified person, in relation to research, means a person who the chief executive (justice) is satisfied has appropriate qualifications or experience to carry out the research.
