Professional conduct

In force

Legal Aid, or a Legal Aid lawyer, in performing the duties of a lawyer under this Act—

(a)

must observe the rules and standards of professional conduct and ethics a private lawyer is required to observe; and

(b)

is subject to the professional obligations to which a private lawyer is subject, by law or custom, in legal practice.
