Show cause notice
134B Show cause notice
This section applies if, having regard to the relevant matters, the commissioner reasonably believes a ground for taking relevant action for an adult entertainment permit exists.
The commissioner must give the person who holds the permit a written notice that—
states the relevant action relating to the permit that the commissioner proposes to take; and
states the grounds for the relevant action; and
states an outline of the facts and circumstances forming the basis for the grounds; and
invites the person to show within a stated period, not less than 14 days after the notice is given to the person, why the relevant action should not be taken.
In this section—
relevant matters means the matters mentioned in section 107E to which the commissioner must have regard in deciding whether an applicant is a suitable person to provide adult entertainment.
