383 Councillor training for particular approved training courses
(1)
This section applies in relation to a course of training that was, immediately before the commencement of this section, an approved training course under section 169A(8) of the Act.
(2)
Despite section 254AA(1), for a person who is a councillor on the commencement, the period prescribed to complete the approved training course for section 169A(2)(a) of the Act is the period ending 6 months after the commencement.
(3)
Also, despite section 254AA(3), the period prescribed for the notice about the approved training course for section 169A(5)(a) of the Act is the period ending 20 business days after the commencement.
