46 Producing prospecting permit
This section applies if—
a person purports to enter or be on land under the authority of a prospecting permit; and
the owner of the land, or an agent of the owner, asks the person for proof of the person’s authority to enter or be on the land.
The person must produce the prospecting permit, or a copy of the permit, to the owner or agent.
If the person fails to comply with subsection (2), the person does not have any entitlements under this Act during the period of the person’s noncompliance.
In this section—
copy, of a prospecting permit, includes an extract from the register of the details of the permit recorded in the register.
