Nature Conservation (Animals) Regulation 2020

This section applies in relation to an authority (the former authority), however described, for an animal, other than an existing wildlife authority or transitioned authority, if—

the former authority was granted under a repealed provision; and

the former authority was in effect immediately before the commencement; and

there is a corresponding provision for the repealed provision.

The former authority is taken to be an authority (the new authority) of the same kind granted under the corresponding provision.

If, immediately before the commencement, the former authority was subject to a condition or other restriction (however described), the new authority is subject to the same condition or restriction.
