(1)
The ombudsman may employ the officers the ombudsman considers necessary for staffing the ombudsman office.
(2)
Officers are appointed under this Act and not the Public Sector Act 2022.
(3)
Subject to this Act, the Inspector of Detention Services Act 2022 and any relevant industrial instrument within the meaning of the Industrial Relations Act 2016, the conditions of service of officers of the ombudsman are those decided by the Governor in Council.
