210B Records to be kept by owner of livestock slaughter facility
The owner of a livestock slaughter facility must, unless the owner has a reasonable excuse, keep a record of the following information about each horse that arrives at the facility—
the day the horse arrives;
the horse’s microchip number;
the information provided to the owner in relation to the supply of the horse under section 210A;
other information prescribed by regulation.
Maximum penalty—200 penalty units.
The owner must keep the information recorded under subsection (1) about each horse for at least 2 years after the day on which the horse arrives at the facility.Maximum penalty—200 penalty units.
