252AJ Public hearing
The hearing of a panel review application must be held in public.
However, the panel may, on application by a party or on the panel’s own initiative, decide that the hearing, or part of the hearing, is to be held in private.
A decision under subsection (2) may be made only if the panel considers information proposed to be disclosed at the hearing should not be made publicly available based on a non-disclosure ground.
To the extent the hearing is heard in private under subsection (2), the panel may limit who may be present at the hearing.
The hearing may be held at any place in Queensland or by remote conferencing.
The panel may adjourn the hearing.
