271 Period stated in previous provision
(1)
This section applies if, under a previous provision, there was a period for doing something, and the period for doing the thing started but did not finish before the commencement.
(2)
If there is a corresponding provision to the previous provision and both the corresponding provision and the previous provision provide for the same period, the period for doing the thing continues to have started from when the period started under the previous provision.
