17 Licence continues pending decision about restoration
If a licensee applies for restoration of a licence under section 14, the licence is taken to be in force from the time the licence expired until the day on which any of the following first happens—
the chief executive restores the licence;
if the chief executive decides to refuse to grant the restoration, the chief executive gives the licensee a QCAT information notice for the decision under section 15(4);
the licensee is taken to have withdrawn the application under section 18(2).
If the chief executive restores the licence, the licence is taken to have been restored from the time it expired.
Subsection (1) does not apply if the licence is earlier cancelled or suspended.
