4 Financial accommodation—Act, s 32
For section 32(3) of the Act, an operating lease entered into by a statutory body, other than a grammar school or university, is a form of financial accommodation.
Subsection (1) applies whether or not the operating lease is entered into by the statutory body when performing its functions.
In this section—
grammar school see the Grammar Schools Act 2016, section 6.
university means each of the following universities—
Central Queensland University established under the Central Queensland University Act 1998, section 4;
Griffith University established under the Griffith University Act 1998, section 4;
James Cook University established under the James Cook University Act 1997, section 4;
Queensland University of Technology established under the Queensland University of Technology Act 1998, section 4;
The University of Queensland established under the University of Queensland Act 1998, section 4;
University of Southern Queensland established under the University of Southern Queensland Act 1998, section 4;
University of the Sunshine Coast established under the University of the Sunshine Coast Act 1998, section 4.
