Register of agreements
164 Register of agreements
A local government must keep a register of water facility agreements entered into by it.
The register must state the following particulars for each agreement—
the landowner’s name and address;
the fee, if any, payable under the agreement;
who is responsible for the control, maintenance and management of the water facility under the agreement;
a description of the land to which, or from which, the water is supplied;
the amount of any minimum guaranteed water supply under the agreement;
other information prescribed under a regulation.
A person may—
on payment of the fee prescribed under a regulation, inspect the register at the local government’s public office when the office is open to the public; and
on payment of the fee that is reasonable but not more than the actual cost, take extracts from, or obtain a copy of details in, the register.
