253 Other entries without warrant
(1)
This section applies if—
(a)
an authorised person is intending to enter a place under section 251(1)(d); and
(b)
the occupier of the place is present at the place.
(2)
Before entering the place, the authorised person must do or make a reasonable attempt to do the following—
(a)
comply with section 247(1);
(b)
tell the occupier the purpose of the entry;
(c)
tell the occupier the authorised person is permitted under this Act to enter the place without the occupier’s consent or warrant.
