192 Regulation-making power

(1)

The Governor in Council may make regulations under this Act.

(2)

Without limiting subsection (1), a regulation may provide for all or any of the following—

(a)

the keeping of a register, including the particulars to be contained in a register;

(b)

the title that may be used by a registrant or the holder of a registration endorsement to show the type of registration held by the registrant;

(c)

the type of survey that may be carried out by the holder of a particular registration or registration endorsement;

(d)

the supervision of persons carrying out surveys;

(e)

the fees payable under this Act.

(3)

A regulation may prescribe a penalty of not more than 20 penalty units for a contravention of the regulation.

(4)

In this section—

holder, of a registration or registration endorsement, means the person to whom the registration or registration endorsement is issued.
