129 Proceedings for offences
(1)
A proceeding for an offence against this Act is to be heard and decided summarily.
(2)
The proceeding must start within the later of—
(a)
1 year after the offence is committed; or
(b)
6 months after the offence comes to the complainant’s knowledge, but within 2 years after the offence is committed.
(3)
A statement in a complaint for an offence against this Act that the matter of the complaint came to the complainant’s knowledge on a stated day is evidence the matter came to the complainant’s knowledge on that day.
