164 Effect of competent authorities panel decisions about exemptions
(1)
This section applies if—
(a)
an exemption, or an application for an exemption, is referred to the competent authorities panel under section 163(1); and
(b)
the competent authorities panel decides that the exemption—
(i)
should have been, or should be, granted, what the terms of the exemption should be, and that the exemption should have effect in all participating jurisdictions or this jurisdiction and 1 or more other participating jurisdictions; or
(ii)
should not have effect in this jurisdiction.
(2)
The chief executive must have regard to the competent authorities panel’s decision.
