225 Existing complaints—government entity or non-government entity
(1)
This section applies if—
(a)
before the commencement, a complaint was made to a government entity or non-government entity under former section 19(2)(a), (b) or (c); and
(b)
immediately before the commencement, the complaint was not resolved.
(2)
On the commencement, the complaint—
(a)
is taken to be a complaint made to a government entity or non-government entity under the Victims’ Commissioner and Sexual Violence Review Board Act 2024, section 45(2)(a), (b) or (c); and
(b)
may be dealt with and resolved under chapter 3, part 3 of that Act.
