75 Disposal of voluntary assisted dying substance
(1)
This section applies if a voluntary assisted dying substance, or any unused or remaining substance, is given to an authorised disposer by the contact person for a person.
(2)
The authorised disposer is authorised to—
(a)
possess the voluntary assisted dying substance or unused or remaining substance for the purpose of disposing of it; and
(b)
dispose of the substance.
(3)
The authorised disposer must dispose of the voluntary assisted dying substance or unused or remaining substance as soon as practicable after receiving it.
