48 Authorised person may require thing’s return

(1)

If an authorised person has required a person to take a thing to a stated place by a stated reasonable time under section 47 the authorised person may require the person to return the thing to the place from which it was taken.

(2)

A person of whom a requirement is made under subsection (1) must comply with the requirement, unless the person has a reasonable excuse.Maximum penalty—100 penalty units.

(3)

The cost of complying with subsection (2) must be borne by the department.
