Limitations on taking underground water in underground water management areas—Act, s 101

In force

For section 101(1) of the Act, a person must not, under section 101(1)(c) of the Act, take underground water in the Atherton underground water management area or the Cairns Northern Beaches underground water management area unless the water is taken—

(a)

under a water licence or water permit; or

(b)

for stock or domestic purposes; or

(c)

for underground water in the Atherton underground water management area—in accordance with section 27(b).
