Days in no-flow periods to support waterhole persistence
2 Days in no-flow periods to support waterhole persistence
An environmental flow objective for surface water to which this plan applies is that the performance indicator mentioned in subsection (2) is not more than what the performance indicator was immediately before the commencement.
The performance indicator, for nodes A to L, is the total number of days in all no-flow periods at each node as a percentage of the total number of days in the simulation period.
In this section—
no-flow period means a continuous period—
that is greater than—
for nodes A to F and H—1.5 years; or
for node G—1.1 years; or
for nodes I and J—1.4 years; or
for node K—0.9 years; or
for node L—0.5 years; and
that is during the simulation period; and
during which daily water flows at the node are no more than 5ML.
