Water Plan (Condamine and Balonne) 2019

Measures that contribute to achieving the water plan outcomes stated in sections 18(b), 19(1)(a) and (b), 21 and 22(1)(a) to (e) and (g) and (h) are—

all water allocations are measured, as directed by the chief executive, by 31 December 2022; and

all water licences to take underground water to which this plan applies in the following underground water units are measured, as directed by the chief executive, by 31 December 2025—

St George Alluvium (deep);

the Upper Condamine Alluvium (Central Condamine Alluvium);

the Upper Condamine Alluvium (Tributaries);

the Upper Condamine Basalts;

the Condamine Fractured Rock.

A measure that contributes to achieving the water plan outcome stated in section 18(b) is the annual publication by the chief executive of a water use report that includes information about compliance with the sustainable diversion limits.

A measure that contributes to achieving the water plan outcomes stated in sections 18(b), 19(1)(f), 21 and 22(1)(b) to (e) is each decision by the chief executive to implement a flow management arrangement in the Lower Balonne is recorded and published by the chief executive at least annually.

A measure that contributes to achieving the water plan outcomes stated in sections 18 to 22 is that a monitoring, evaluation and reporting strategy, to support assessment of the effectiveness of this plan and its implementation, is developed by the chief executive by 1 July 2020.
