Performance indicators for environmental flow objectives

In force

The performance indicators for the environmental flow objectives are—

(a)

for assessing periods of low flow, the following—

(i)

50% daily flow;

(ii)

90% daily flow;

(iii)

daily flow less than 1ML;

(iv)

number of periods of no flow of at least 1 month but less than 3 months;

(v)

number of periods of no flow of at least 3 months but less than 6 months;

(vi)

number of periods of no flow of at least 6 months; and

(b)

for assessing periods of medium to high flow, the following—

(i)

mean annual flow;

(ii)

1.5 year daily flow volume;

(iii)

5 year daily flow volume;

(iv)

20 year daily flow volume; and

(c)

for assessing seasonal flow patterns—

(i)

flow regime class; and

(ii)

annual proportional flow deviation.
