Granting or reserving unallocated water from the strategic reserve

In force

Unallocated water may be granted or reserved from the strategic reserve only—

(a)

for infrastructure for a project declared under the State Development and Public Works Organisation Act 1971, section 26, to be a significant project; or

(b)

for infrastructure identified in—

(i)

the SEQ regional plan or instruments that implement the plan; or

(ii)

a regional water security program for the SEQ region.
