243 Functions and powers
(1)
An advisory committee has the following functions—
(a)
reviewing information referred to the advisory committee by the chief executive in relation to the risk assessment of a person;
(b)
providing advice or recommendations to the chief executive about the risk assessment of a person based on the information referred to the committee under paragraph (a).
(2)
An advisory committee has power to do anything necessary or convenient to be done in performing its functions.
