304N Action after making decision
If the chief executive decides to cancel a person’s negative notice under this division, the chief executive must—
cancel the negative notice; and
give the person a notice about the cancellation.
If the chief executive decides under this division to substitute a working with children authority for a person’s cancelled negative notice, the chief executive must issue to the person—
if the person is a police officer or registered teacher—a working with children exemption; or
otherwise—a working with children clearance.
If the chief executive decides to refuse an application mentioned in section 304J(b), the chief executive must give the person a written notice that states—
the application has been refused and the person’s negative notice continues in effect subject to section 240; and
the reasons for the chief executive’s decision to refuse the application; and
the relevant review and appeal information.
