356 Compliance with requirement to end, or not start, a person’s regulated employment
This section applies if it would be a contravention of a provision of chapter 7 or this chapter for a person (the employer) to employ, or continue to employ, another person (the employee) in regulated employment.
The employer must comply with the provision despite another Act or law or any industrial award or agreement.
The employer does not incur any liability because, in compliance with the provision, the employer does not employ, or continue to employ, the employee in regulated employment.
A person whose working with children authority is suspended under section 296 may be employed in employment that is not regulated employment.
