399 Delegation by chief executive
(1)
The chief executive may delegate the chief executive’s functions under this or another Act to—
(a)
an appropriately qualified public service employee employed in the department; or
(b)
another individual who the chief executive considers is an appropriately qualified person to exercise the functions delegated to the person.
(2)
In this section—functions includes powers.
