614 New regulated employment—gyms and play facilities
(1)
This section applies if, immediately before the commencement—
(a)
a person was employed in employment, or continuing in employment, mentioned in new schedule 1, section 11(1)(b); and
(b)
the person does not hold a current working with children authority.
(2)
Sections 175, 176A, 176C and 176E do not apply in relation to the employment until—
(a)
6 months after the commencement; or
(b)
if the person makes a working with children check application within the period mentioned in paragraph (a)—the application is decided or withdrawn.
