12 Transitional provisions for purposes of section 50
For the purposes of section 50, a person who was, immediately before the commencement of this clause, an authorised officer pursuant to section 16A(1)(b) of the repealed Act (as in force immediately before the commencement of this clause) will be taken to be an authorised officer appointed by the Minister to whom the administration of the
Public Intoxication
Act 1984 is committed on the recommendation of the Trust (and any conditions or limitations prescribed or otherwise applicable under that section will continue to apply according to their terms).
Subject to this Act, a proclamation made under section 16A(2) of the repealed Act continues to have effect according to its terms as if it were a proclamation made under section 50.
