11 Interaction with other Acts
The Adelaide Park Lands Management Strategy under the
Adelaide Park Lands
Act 2005 will not apply to land within the Adelaide Oval
Core Area.
The conferral or exercise of a right to occupy any land under a lease or licence under this Act will not constitute the division of any land for the purposes of the Planning,
Development and Infrastructure
Act 2016.
A management plan under Chapter 11 of the
Local Government
Act 1999 will not apply to land within the Adelaide Oval
Core Area.
Despite section 14 of the Development Act 1993, the Development
Assessment Commission is not, in the exercise and discharge of its powers, functions or duties under this Act, subject to the direction and control of the
Minister responsible for the administration of that Act.
Any designated land is exempt from council rates under the
Local Government
Act 1999.
In subsection (5)—
designated land means—
any land within the Adelaide Oval Core Area; or
any land within the Adelaide Oval Licence Area that is subject to a licence under this Act.
