26 Establishment of local dog fence boards
The
Minister may, on the recommendation of the board, by notice in the
Gazette, establish a local dog fence board.
A local dog fence board is established for the purpose of defraying the cost of erecting and maintaining part of a dog fence, or a fence that the board proposes to substitute as part of a dog fence instead of an existing part.
A local dog fence board will be constituted by persons specified in the notice.
A local dog fence board will have the powers and duties specified in the notice.
The
Minister may, on the recommendation of the board, by further notice in the Gazette—
alter the constitution, or the powers or duties, of a local dog fence board; or
abolish a local dog fence board and make provision for incidental matters.
