275 Orders regarding costs and expenses of investigation
The court may, if satisfied (on the balance of probabilities) that a government agency has reasonably incurred costs and expenses during the investigation of the offence, order the offender to pay to the government agency the costs and expenses so incurred in such amount as is fixed by the order.
In this section—
costs and expenses, in relation to the investigation of an offence, includes the costs and expenses of or incidental to—
taking any sample or conducting any inspection, examination, test, measurement or analysis of any thing; or
seizing, transporting, storing, destroying or disposing of any thing; or
taking any other action associated with the investigation of the offence.
