50 Authorised officers
(1)
The following persons are authorised officers for the purposes of this Act:
(a)
a police officer; and
(b)
any other person appointed by the Minister, by instrument in writing, to be an authorised officer for the purposes of this
Act.
(2)
The Minister must provide an authorised officer appointed under subsection (1)(b) with a certificate of identification.
(3)
An authorised officer appointed under subsection (1)(b) must, on demand by a person in relation to whom the officer is exercising any powers under this Act, produce the certificate of identification for the inspection of that person.
